Mind Subconscious Hypnosis

by Irwin on Dec.25, 2009, under Meditation

Mind subconscious abilities are fascinating and powerful, but they can be very challenging to master. These subconscious and psychic abilities can range from psychokinesis to clairvoyance, but if you find yourself unable to tap into these talents, you might feel that you are at a loss. This is not necessarily the case. Have you tried hypnotizing yourself? Whether you work with a professional hypnotist or try out some ways to hypnotize yourself, when you are in a hypnotic state, you are able to tap into your subconscious mind while awake.

You have very likely seen hypnotism on television or in movies, and you might be wondering how watching a pocket watch swing back and forth will help you tap into the mind subconscious. There is much more to hypnotism than making someone quack like a duck on command. Hypnotism is sometimes used in therapy sessions to help get to blocked memories. It is a system of instructions and suggestions that puts you in a focused state of wakefulness in which you are more suggestible and your awareness is lessened. In this state you can better reach into your mind subconscious.

To hypnotize yourself, ensure that you can remain undisturbed for at least half an hour, but an hour would be better. Get yourself comfortable and turn off your cell phone. Dim the lighting. Be sure not to cross your legs. Close your eyes and take several slow, deep breaths. Breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth. You can even whisper the word “relax” with each exhalation. Imagine yourself at the foot of a staircase or in a hallway, with a door at the other end. With every breath, picture yourself one step closer to the door. Keep the breathing up until you get to the top of the staircase or the end of the hallway. Open the door and imagine your ideal relaxation place. This could be a real place you know well, or a completely fictional place. Imagine as many senses into this vision as possible. If you picture a garden, do you smell flowers? Do you hear birds singing? Even try to picture some tastes or touch sensations.

Being in this ideal state of relaxation helps you reach hypnotism. As you explore this mental space, you are not only relaxing, but also stepping closer and closer to a hypnotic state. You might not reach it on the first try, but with practice you can hypnotize yourself and boost the powers of the mind subconscious.

Mind Subconscious Dreams

by Irwin on Dec.25, 2009, under Meditation

The mind subconscious may be a foreign landscape to you, but when you dream, you are frequently communing with the hidden aspects of your brain. You might have heard of mediums having dreams that turn out to be psychic visions, but this talent does not have to be exclusive to the medium population. By learning some common dream symbols, you can learn from your dreams, and potentially even develop psychic talents such as clairvoyance and precognition. Keeping a dream journal will help you remember images from dreams, as well as give you a record of how you progress in terms of psychic ability.

Many psychologists from Sigmund Freud to Carl Jung have discussed dreams and their effect on the mind subconscious in their theories, often attempting to interpret them. While dreams may be an intensely personal experience for some, it can be helpful to view your nighttime visions through the context of common symbols and their meanings as they appear in dreams. For example, an animal in a dream can symbolize a repressed desire or an animal-like instinct.

Of course, when you look into more complex dream theories, specific animals will have disparate meanings. Cats, to name an example, often symbolize aspects of your own character based upon how you view cats. To clarify, if you dislike cats and you see a cat in a dream, it might be a manifestation of a part of your personality you dislike.

Colors are important to dreams as well. While some people only dream in black and white, it is important to take note of whatever colors you experience in your dream. For example, blue is typically the color of masculinity, but it can also relate to the throat chakra. Learning about the colors that correspond to chakras might assist you in not only balancing your life, but also developing psychic powers in the mind subconscious.

As you become more familiar with dream theories, and as you work on enhancing your various psychic talents, you will likely experience a growth of dreams that come true. These could be little blips of future sight to situations you might never know about to things that will affect your life. It may be a challenge to decipher dreams from psychic visions, but referring back to your dream journal and researching the elements of your dreams can help you sort out which dreams were visions. Keep trying to sort out these visions, and use the regular dreams as a good means of communicating with your mind subconscious.

Mind Subconscious Autosuggestion

by Irwin on Dec.25, 2009, under Meditation

Mind subconscious is the part of the brain that is generally thought of as being off limits to your active, conscious mind. Even though you may not be able to tap into it the way you can with the conscious mind, there are still a few techniques you can use to coach your subconscious mind into functioning the way you want it to. Autosuggestion uses repetition of positive thoughts to help you achieve all sorts of goals. By following the tips outlined below, you can, in effect, reformat your mind subconscious to work for you and help you achieve your goals.

The first step you will want to implement is to begin repeating affirmations. You can literally speak them out loud, or you could also elect to repeat them silently to yourself. The best times to do this are at the beginning and end of each day. Similar to a song you can’t get out of your head, when you tell yourself positive things early in the morning, they will remain in your head all day, even when you are actively thinking about other things. Similarly, performing these affirmations before bed will keep your subconscious mind at work by focusing on thoughts from your conscious mind.

Writing down the affirmations gives them a greater strength. Adding the written affirmations to the ones in your mind subconscious brings these thoughts and ideas into the physical world. This becomes a sort of gateway for other aspects of the subconscious to manifest in the physical world through your conscious mind. You can scribble down these thoughts and feelings at any point during the day, not just at night or early in the morning.

Autosuggestion is also a method of alternative medicine that many believe generate swifter healing. Often compared to the placebo effect, autosuggestion aims at making the mind subconscious force illnesses and other ailments out of the body before they have run their course. The methods of medical autosuggestion are not unlike being put under hypnosis. You can carefully coach yourself into hypnosis, or you can alternate some of your positive affirmations to fit your needs.

This does not have to be exclusively medical goals. Using the affirmation method outlined above, you can start to repeat and write down the goals you hope to achieve as well as your affirmations. After a successful bout of the affirmation routine, you will likely feel increasingly comfortable putting small goals to paper. Once you achieve small goals, continue with this method of taking advantage of your mind subconscious.

Your Mind Power and Meditation

by Irwin on Nov.22, 2009, under Meditation

Your mind power is one of many aspects of your life that can improve greatly from a regular meditation routine. Meditation is a process of self-reflection that either uses as little outside assistance as possible or is done through a guided method.

With the unguided approach you should be looking inward, to yourself instead of focusing on the world around you. Guided meditation involves listening to a CD or instructor guiding you through a journey of self discovery. Both forms of meditation are equally valid. The type of meditation you use should be determined by your purpose. There are also combinations of the two approaches, where an instructor will guide you along a path or a focus and then let you determine where you go from there by being open to impressions, talking with spirit guides, or simply letting you take the journey from where he or she leaves off.

Meditation is a practice often associated with Eastern religions, such as Buddhism. In this day and age, especially in the Western world, it is not necessary to follow such a religion in order to reap the benefits of meditation. In the early 1920’s, Edmund Jacobson formed a correlation between anxiety and muscular tension. This has become a strong basis for Western meditation. By relaxing the body, you can help rid yourself of negativity in your mind. Clearing away the day and becoming isolated in the moment allows you to boost your mind power and become stronger in your psychic abilities.

Many experts are speaking on the importance of meditation. Some have even discussed the curative potential of certain forms of meditation. It may be hard to think of other things in the throes of a serious illness, but if you are able to remove yourself from the world around you and use your mind power to think of the illness as a part of you that you want to change, your mind will help you to fight it better.

You can use meditation to picture things about yourself that you would like to change, and this will assist you with some of the psychic abilities and your mind power. As you meditate, you can visualize yourself as having made significant, positive changes in your life. This exercise can help you strengthen abilities such as clairvoyance. If you have already located your mind’s eye, visualizing these changes will require little effort. If you haven’t visualized in your mind’s eye, it’s a fairly easy task. Simply picture a happy memory in your mind. Once you actually visualize it, when you can actually see it as though it were a movie, you have located your mind’s eye. You can do this during your regular meditation routine. Picturing desired changes in your mind’s eye is a great way to enhance your mind power.
