Spiritual Center and Vortexes
by Irwin on Nov.27, 2009, under Spiritual
Spiritual center relies on an influx of positive energy to become stabilized. From ancient times, people have recognized large gatherings of energy in vortexes as spiritual places. People have often built churches and other religious sites in such areas because of the almost otherworldly amounts of energy they experienced. Places such as Stonehenge, Easter Island and even the Pyramids of Egypt are all sites of such vortexes. While these locations are marked by wondrous monuments, this is not a qualification for all vortexes. You can visit a site of a vortex, possibly near where you live, to experience powerful energy to help you move toward spiritual center.
There are three types of vortexes you can visit: electric, magnetic and electromagnetic. Electric vortexes will stimulate energy. Magnetic vortexes attract energy to them, and electromagnetic vortexes both attract and activate energy. These vortexes act as the earth’s chakra system, which help keep the earth in balance.
If you plan on visiting a vortex to receive its energy and working toward spiritual center, consider which type you want to visit, and what you want to do once arriving there. There is said to be one major vortex on each of earth’s seven continents, but there are other, less prominent vortexes across the globe. The most powerful vortex in North America is said to be Mt. Shasta in California.
There is increasing scientific evidence of the power of these vortexes. While innumerable people throughout history have not needed such proof to use vortexes to help them reach spiritual center, with more evidence this method will become increasingly accepted in mainstream communities.
American researcher Ivan T. Sanderson identified twelve electromagnetic energy disturbances located sporadically over the face of the globe. One of these was the infamous Bermuda Triangle. Russian historian Nikolai Goncharov, engineer Vyacheslav Morozov and electronics specialist Valery Makarov worked together to formulate a grid pattern that tracked a wide array of phenomena using known vortexes. While there are still those who doubt the validity of such research, there are quite a few more people who have experienced the great benefits of such great sources of energy.
If you choose to visit a vortex site, be sure to come prepared to use the energy to your advantage. If you choose to meditate, or simply take in all the sights and absorb the scenery, you should be able to feel the power of the vortex and use it help you achieve spiritual center.
Spiritual Center Consciousness
by Irwin on Nov.27, 2009, under Spiritual
Spiritual center requires attention in your mind more than it does in your body, and being able to develop the right mindset is one of the most direct routes to spiritual center. You may find yourself unable to change your thought process, but that does not mean you are incapable of changing the things you choose to think about. You can implement routines into your everyday lifestyle that will help you improve your attitude and what you think about, that will bring you closer to spiritual center.
Being conscious of how your thought process works is a good place to start. The next time you come across a difficult problem, try remembering how you were able to solve it. No matter what type of problem (work related, personal, something else), you can still use this technique.
When you figured out how you solved the problem, what did you do? Did you use some sort of cues or clues? Did you rely on intuition? Did you use an analytical approach? Did you rely on research? Try comparing this round of problem solving with other problems you have solved in the past. If you used the same methods, you have likely identified how your thought process works and can move on to other aspects of using your mind to achieve spiritual center.
Once you have an idea how your mind functions, you can begin to make it work for you. One thing you might want to consider is to increase your brain’s capacity to help gear you toward a higher thought process that you could use to achieve spiritual center.
Exercise your mind by memorizing things like telephone numbers or other numerical strands. Having your brain work in this way is not something you usually do, so it will, in a sense, wake your brain up and make it more efficient, thus providing a great opportunity to work more on achieving spiritual center.
Once you feel confident in your mind’s capabilities and are prepared to dive into more intensive spiritual center work, there are many options on how you can reach spiritual center by controlling your mind. One of the most common ways to do this is through an active meditation schedule.
Other options include telling yourself to think of various calming ideas throughout the day, especially when you feel stressed. If you are able to channel stress into positive energy, you will not only increase your performance, but you can also benefit from that positivity and use it to grow ever closer to spiritual center.
Spiritual Center Reached Through Meditation
by Irwin on Nov.27, 2009, under Spiritual
Spiritual center is reachable in many ways, but meditation is one of the most direct routes to consider. A newcomer just starting down the path toward spiritual center can benefit from meditating just as greatly as someone who has nearly achieved it.
With all the different types of meditation to choose from, you have almost limitless options. This may seem a bit daunting, but with a little research or advice from experts or friends, you should easily come upon a meditation regime that will help you reach spiritual center.
If you are new to meditating or have never meditated before, it might be a good idea to start out with guided meditation. This is a great place to begin using meditation to reach spiritual center. You can do this in person in either a one-on-one or group setting, or you can have a more private session through a wide array of meditation CD’s and DVD’s.
Consulting an expert is a great way to begin meditating because if you have any questions, they can easily be answered, and you can also learn interesting techniques that a CD or DVD might not be able to provide.
Once you have become aware of some basic meditation techniques, you can apply them to move closer to achieving spiritual center. You may also want to start meditating without guidance. Many people prefer to meditate without outside interference or influence. For people who have just begun meditating, it might not be the best idea to start without guidance however, you may not need it. You may want to start with guided meditation, move into unguided meditation, and consult guidance occasionally to keep you on the path to spiritual center.
Meditating does not have to mean sitting down in a quiet room and chanting to yourself. While this might be an attractive route for some, others may desire a more active form of meditating. If this is the case, try meditating while doing yoga. There have even been instances of such meditation leading to developed psychic powers.
Michal Levin, for example, developed a meditation technique she described as “Heartleads Meditation.” She recorded her meditations over several months and was able to develop clairvoyant visions. While not everyone will be able to experience the same results as Levin’s highly intense meditation regimen produced, there is no doubt that with the right kind of meditation to suit your needs, you will be able to reach spiritual center.
Your Mind Power and Spirituality
by Irwin on Nov.22, 2009, under Spiritual
Your mind power might need a bit of assistance to get it to the state where you can better perform psychic talents like telepathy, clairvoyance and intuition. Spirituality is an attribute to have if you want to increase your psychic potential. So often spirituality and religion are lumped together as synonyms, but this is not necessarily the case. A religion may give guidelines as to how you should believe and behave, whereas spirituality is more personal, allowing you to grow mentally as you see fit.
If you have ever heard someone define him or herself as spiritual but not religious, you have heard how the two terms can be separated. While you might need to be spiritual to feel a sense of belonging in an organized religion, you do not have to feel the same way but in reverse to be spiritual. Having some sort of belief system can really improve your mind power and development. There are even exercises and measures you can take toward reaching self-realization.
If you consider yourself to be a spiritual person, you are already well on the way toward enhancing your psychic talents. One exercise you can try to boost your all-around psychic or mental prowess is to picture yourself on one of your happiest days. The more recent the day, the more clearly you will picture it. Depending on how vividly you picture the event, you should be able to feel the emotions of the day. Having this positivity and confidence at your disciplined disposal will help you to reach a state of self-realization. Knowing and believing in yourself is crucial to making the most of your mind power. This is a state often associated with the spiritually satiated.
You may have heard of Rhonda Byrne’s The Secret, which teaches the importance of what Byrne refers to as the law of attraction. Basically, Byrne and other spiritual experts have theorized that the universe will bring to the body things that the mind has visualized. What this means is that as you grow closer to whatever you think is guiding the universe, your spirituality grows stronger. Think of how religious people pray and you have a good idea of how the law of attraction is said to work. If you are able to visualize your goals, being in touch with the universe through spirituality should aid you in achieving them. With a strong base in spirituality, you can invigorate or grow more in touch with your mind power.
Your Mind Power and Dreams
by Irwin on Nov.22, 2009, under Spiritual
Your mind power is at work day and night, while you are awake and asleep. When you dream, your mind is still functioning, but in a different way than during your waking hours. While many scientists and psychologists have tried to decode their cryptic nature, we still do not fully understand the nature of dreams. Knowing a few basic facts about dreams, some of the discoveries that actually have been made, is a great way to learn how your unconscious mind can boost your mind power during the day.
Dreams occur during rapid eye movement or REM sleep. In 1952, a scientist named Eugene Aserinsky discovered REM sleep by noticing eyes “fluttering” under the eyelids while sleeping. Aserinsky then hooked subjects up to a polygraph machine while sleeping to study brain activity. While knowing the origins of the terminology of REM sleep, being aware of how your brain works will help you boost your mind power. Being able to remember your dreams is also helpful in trying to improve some of your psychic skills.
If you have ever had a sense of unexplained deja vu, it might be due to a vision in a dream. While it might seem subtle, this is a form of clairvoyance, the basis of the psychic abilities of your mind power. It is unlikely that you will remember all of your dreams, but in the morning you can jot down the ones you do recall in a dream journal of some sort. Even if you don’t remember a whole dream, writing down any bits that stand out to you will help you remember what is on your subconscious mind. You might not have the clairvoyance of a medium, but odds are you will have at least some aspect of a dream come true.
There are multiple types of dreams you can have that will leave a variety of impressions on you. As children, we generally place dreams into two categories: good dreams and bad dreams, or nightmares. After developing a more nuanced intellect, it becomes clear to almost any adult that dreams are not so concrete. There is the phenomenon of the epic dream, which often provides a new outlook on an aspect of your life, or can even elucidate something about yourself that you were unaware of. In contrast, you might experience dreams that are reminiscent of abstract art: seemingly no rhyme or reason.
Knowing about your dreams and keeping up with what aspects of your dreams reoccur in your waking life is a great way to help develop your psychic abilities. While you cannot consciously exercise your dreams, you can facilitate them to assist in enhancing your mind power.
Spiritual Center Writing
by Irwin on Nov.08, 2009, under Spiritual
Your spiritual center can benefit from several sorts of artistic endeavors. One of the best outlets you can have is writing. One of the good things about writing is that there are so many different genres you can write in that you can unleash any creativity you want. You can write something as private as a journal, or you could take up something you might want to share with others like poetry or short stories. Writing can be very therapeutic and a great way to work on your spiritual center.
Keeping a journal is a great way to unleash your writing creativity. Think of it as a form of meditation, a type of self reflection. The benefits that meditating provides for your spiritual center are many, and having a physical manifestation of your meditations can add to this reward. The nice thing about journal writing specifically is that you really have no pressure to try to please anyone but yourself. You can make the pages anything you want them to be from a cathartic rant on a hard day to musings on your life in general. The informal nature of such a private document is certainly the perfect choice for many.
In the world of poetry, there are so many different formats to choose from. There is free verse, which is unrhymed and does not use any sort of meter. For many amateur and professional poets, this is an ideal format to express an opinion or sentiment without feeling constrained by rhyme scheme and meter. Other poets will like having the structure to assist in guiding thoughts. Poetry is a well structured way of writing for the spiritual center because it does not have to follow a flow of logic that prose writing necessitates.
Prose writing is simply using sentences to convey a meaning. Whether you choose to write fiction or nonfiction, if you think in logical patterns, prose is likely a good option for you and your spiritual center. If you intend on sharing your prose writing with others be sure to edit and revise to improve what you have already written.
Taking up the hobby of writing is a great way to relieve tension and work on your spiritual center. Both formal and informal writing can act as a form of meditation, depending on your personality and what you want to write about. Try writing a poem or keeping a journal for a week and see if you enjoy it. Keep up the hobby to work on your spiritual center.
Spiritual Center on the Internet
by Irwin on Nov.08, 2009, under Spiritual
Your spiritual center is not available to buy online. However, there are more and more ways to work on it via the internet. Online shopping can offer you great deals when compared to brick-and-mortar competitors. Connecting with friends and family on the internet is easier now than ever. Facebook may have started as a college-only website, but it has since expanded to allow anyone to join. Search for family members living out of state or childhood best friends. Being able to connect with people you are unable to see on a regular basis is a great way to put you back in touch with your roots, which will allow your spiritual center to feel more balanced.
For the big shoppers out there, online shopping offers many opportunities for a good deal. The danger is not spending outside of your means. When you do not have to leave home to buy the latest bestsellers or a great new outfit, the temptation to buy more is greater. The excitement of finding a good deal is a good way to stimulate your spiritual center, but be sure not to let this enthusiasm get out of hand. Keeping yourself in check can also be a good way to work on your spiritual center.
If you have hit a dead end in terms of how to work towards spiritual center, try looking online for some blogs, chat rooms and message boards that are catered to your needs. There is almost definitely something available. Chat rooms and message boards will give you a greater opportunity to interact with lots of people with similar interests to you. These websites will let you communicate with others to discover new methods or techniques to incorporate into your spiritual center routine.
The internet may be known for its suspect websites, but with careful searching, you can find the perfect website to help you achieve your goals. If it is connecting with loved ones you desire, there are innumerable sites available for that. The same goes for discount shopping and any sort of information you might want to find. Spending a little time online is one of many great ways to make your quest for spiritual center that much easier.
Spiritual Center Habits
by Irwin on Nov.08, 2009, under Spiritual
Spiritual center habits determine whether you become balanced or out-of-whack. You may not have thought your habits could shake up your spiritual center, but some of the behaviors you do not even think twice about can have a big effect. While we normally think of habits as being something bad (and therefore having a negative impact on your spiritual center), there are also good habits that will help keep you in check.
From the time that we are very young, we are taught to avoid our bad habits, or at least to hide them. A bad habit is anything from biting your fingernails to obsessive thoughts. Most of what we think of when we hear the word habit is our bad habits. While we may not be able to eradicate the behaviors wholesale, it is certainly healthy to be aware of our actions. While you may not enjoy performing your bad habits, it is beneficial for your spiritual center to be aware of these actions.
While we may be more familiar with bad habits, it is healthier to focus on their more positive counterparts. Any sort of manners system is an ordering of good habits. Good habits can be your etiquette at a table or something more automatic, like holding a door open for someone. These behaviors often benefit not only yourself, but those around you. This will lead you to a finely-tuned spiritual center by radiating positivity. Having this positivity, plus the awareness of your actions is a great way to lead you towards spiritual center.
Everyone is bound to have both good and bad habits, and balancing them is one of the most direct routes to enhancing your spiritual center. Accepting yourself complete with both the bad habits and good ones is a great place to start your balancing act. By simply acknowledging your bad habits, you admit to being aware of them and you can then keep them in balance. As you move closer to your spiritual center, it may be a good idea to stop labeling your habits as good and bad. Think of them just as habits. Removing the connotation from them is very liberating, and then you will not feel the stress, guilt or responsibility of performing good or bad habits.
Knowing yourself and balancing your emotions are great ways to work on your spiritual center, and it helps to think about aspects of yourself that you can easily overlook on a basic exploration of self-discovery. Take time out to consider these automatic reactions you have to various stimuli, and you are on your way to achieving a beautifully-balanced spiritual center.
Spiritual Center Habitat
by Irwin on Nov.08, 2009, under Spiritual
Spiritual center development is enhanced by a proper, well balanced surrounding. From the interior decorating in your home, to the climate where you live, your habitat can sometimes make or break the balance of a spiritual center. Keeping your home nice and clean, having the rooms in your house decorated and maintained to suit your aesthetic, and being able to prepare for the seasons are all active ways to help balance your spiritual center.
Keeping your home clean and ridding it of dust and clutter is a great way to make your mind focus on a task, which can improve your spiritual center. An uncluttered environment leading to an uncluttered mind is more than a cliche. It’s a fact. Clearing out dust and other allergens can also keep you healthier. You may not enjoy cleaning, but surely you will like the effect once you have finished. Having a home that you think is more presentable to friends and family will make you feel more comfortable in your already warm home.
Having a home that is decorated to your personal aesthetic will allow you to relax in your surroundings. The decorating process can be fun or challenging, depending on how much you like to shop. If you have doubts about what types of pieces correspond, you can look at various magazines or get advice from professionals. You can also research feng shui aesthetics that can bring positive energy into your home. Even small things like having live flowers or plants throughout the home can aid in balancing your spiritual center by having an influx of positivity and life-giving oxygen.
Your home and its surroundings can have a great impact on how you feel. From living in a big city or enjoying the quiet solitude of an isolated home in the country, there are quite a few options you can choose from that will help you balance and sustain your spiritual center.
Depending on where you live, you will have to prepare for the onset of the different seasons. Your mindset regarding the change of the seasons is a crucial variable in how you feel and how close you will be to your spiritual center. For instance, if you see fall in a negative light, as the time when nature seems to get old and die, that probably won’t serve you well. But if you see it as a beautiful time of the year, when the leaves turn beautiful colors and nature brings your attention to a new cycle of life, that might be a more positive spin on the changing of the seasons. Developing and maintaining a positive approach and attitude to the changing seasons as they come, will make your life easier to live, and therefore, you will feel a better balance in your spiritual center.
Spiritual Center and Positivity
by Irwin on Nov.07, 2009, under Spiritual
Spiritual center development entails the removal of negative energy and the attraction of positive energy. You can increase the levels of positive energy coming into your life in many ways. It is up to you to decide which ones you will implement. You may be surprised by some of the methods you can take up that will increase the flow of positive energy in your life. From meeting new people to decorating your home differently and even paying it forward (doing good deeds or random acts of kindness) can create positive energy that will help you balance your spiritual center.
Meeting new people is a great way to bring new energy into your surroundings. Joining an interest-based club can ensure that you will have something in common with these new friends, but that is not the only option. Try to find people who will not create negativity in your life. Put more positively, find people who will create positive energy in your life. The excitement and energy of meeting new people will carry over into your continued relationships with existing friends.
There are multiple ways that decorating your home can bring new positive energy into your everyday existence. Following the principles of the ancient Chinese practices of feng shui will provide you with certain guidelines that are believed to promote positive energy to help balance your spiritual center. This is not your only option, though. Redecorating a room in the style of your choosing can reinvigorate the space, the whole house, and your mind.
Paying it forward is basically a preemptive way to earn good karma and create positive energy in your world and the world in general. Performing unmotivated good deeds for strangers is the most well-known way to pay it forward, and knowing that you have helped someone without needing a reason can be very nourishing for the soul. Being in the positive mindset required to pay it forward will assist in balancing your spiritual center in a healthy, rewarding manner. With the good karma you earn from paying it forward, you can count on the positive energy to begin flowing towards you.
While there are many ways to encourage positive energy to find its way to you, these are some great and simple ways to start the stream. If you think of other ideas to boost your positivity, definitely give them a try. Be sure to keep up the positive energy levels so that you remain as balanced as possible. Sustaining a high level of positivity is one of the best ways to guarantee a finely-tuned spiritual center.
