Your psychic abilities have been linked to hypnosis for a very long time now. Many average people, scientists and actual psychics believe that there is a relationship between psychic abilities and hypnosis. There have been instances where the mind has been tapped into through hypnosis and opened doors that allowed the individual under hypnosis to see or feel things they previously couldn’t.
Remember that movie called “Stir of Echoes”? That is a great example of what happened to someone under hypnosis. The main characters wife’s friend placed him under hypnosis and he falls into a deep trance, where he doesn’t even remember what happened. Later, he begins to see visions of a dead girl. It turns out, his wife’s friend somehow opened a doorway in the mind that allowed him to see and hear the dead.
Now, how far is this from truth? There is a term called paranormal hypnosis, which has a focus on paranormal psychic abilities. These use strategies and exercises that allow you to restore an even flow to and from your psychic circuitry. Plus, there are people who claim that they can hear and see the dead or other entities from another realm. They’re on countless shows that capture their daily lives and tell their stories of torment and sometimes satisfaction. Some people want their paranormal gifts, while others don’t. There’s really no sure way of knowing why people have the abilities they have or why they’re born with them and others aren’t.
Maybe it has something to do with the childhood, when the mind is at its most open. Children and their imaginations are quite strong and they are a bit more naive and less skeptical of the world. It’s possible that this is why many children are known for having “imaginary friends” and are able to see and hear things adults aren’t able to.
There have been stories of children getting attacked by various entities, showing scars, scratches and bruises as evidence of their frightening ordeals. Some stories where people claim they have been attacked by the unseen are, of course, frauds, but some incidents seem plausible. Looking back to the “Stir of Echoes” movie, the man’s son was able to see the same ghost he was seeing. The boy didn’t go under hypnosis, so maybe his mind was already open to it. As we get older, it is possible that we close lots of doors because the world tells us to. Hypnosis is known to reverse this process.
Hypnosis has been used to both open and close doorways to the spirit world. Developing your psychic abilities through hypnosis is very possible if you work with an individual that knows what they’re doing. For some, the results come quickly, while others have much more resistance. We don’t know why this is, but suffice it to say that no matter where you’re at in your level of psychic development, any effort will help you enhance your psychic abilities.
