Tomczyk was able to levitate small objects with her mind’s power. She’d place a hand on either side of the objects and they would begin to hover. Witnesses who had seen it firsthand claimed that it seemed as though threads were emanating from her hands as the objects were being moved. Threads?! Hmmm.
Another individual, who is popular and well scrutinized, is Nina Kulagina. She is a Russian woman who was trying to develop other psychic powers when she discovered her ability of telekinesis. Her ability was shown off by moving objects that were nonmagnetic, such as matches, clock pendulums, bread or a salt shaker. This was in the technological age, so it was all captured on video. Skeptics claim that it doesn’t stand up to scientific testing and that she’s just a clever magician.
In the psychic world, you can’t really be a skeptic. This is a closed mind, which is antithetical to the possibility of obtaining full brain power capacities. One of the first steps to developing your mind’s power is to open your mind and believe. The more closed minded you are, the more you’re shutting out the possibility. Unlocking the doorways and boundaries of the mind is easier for some than others. It is said that only a certain percentage of people are able to be hypnotized or to use their mind to attain psychic skills. But perhaps it’s just that some individuals are more tapped into that part of the brain and those others have to work a bit harder.
