Mind subconscious abilities are fascinating and powerful, but they can be very challenging to master. These subconscious and psychic abilities can range from psychokinesis to clairvoyance, but if you find yourself unable to tap into these talents, you might feel that you are at a loss. This is not necessarily the case. Have you tried hypnotizing yourself? Whether you work with a professional hypnotist or try out some ways to hypnotize yourself, when you are in a hypnotic state, you are able to tap into your subconscious mind while awake.
You have very likely seen hypnotism on television or in movies, and you might be wondering how watching a pocket watch swing back and forth will help you tap into the mind subconscious. There is much more to hypnotism than making someone quack like a duck on command. Hypnotism is sometimes used in therapy sessions to help get to blocked memories. It is a system of instructions and suggestions that puts you in a focused state of wakefulness in which you are more suggestible and your awareness is lessened. In this state you can better reach into your mind subconscious.
To hypnotize yourself, ensure that you can remain undisturbed for at least half an hour, but an hour would be better. Get yourself comfortable and turn off your cell phone. Dim the lighting. Be sure not to cross your legs. Close your eyes and take several slow, deep breaths. Breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth. You can even whisper the word “relax” with each exhalation. Imagine yourself at the foot of a staircase or in a hallway, with a door at the other end. With every breath, picture yourself one step closer to the door. Keep the breathing up until you get to the top of the staircase or the end of the hallway. Open the door and imagine your ideal relaxation place. This could be a real place you know well, or a completely fictional place. Imagine as many senses into this vision as possible. If you picture a garden, do you smell flowers? Do you hear birds singing? Even try to picture some tastes or touch sensations.
Being in this ideal state of relaxation helps you reach hypnotism. As you explore this mental space, you are not only relaxing, but also stepping closer and closer to a hypnotic state. You might not reach it on the first try, but with practice you can hypnotize yourself and boost the powers of the mind subconscious.
