Your mind power may not yet be at the point where you feel confident in your psychic skills, but there are some great ways to boost them. Knowing how clairvoyance works and believing in your abilities are a perfect place to start. Once you have researched some of the basic theories behind clairvoyance, you can begin to implement exercises that will specifically enhance your clairvoyance.
Clairvoyance is often thought of as the ability to see the future, but it is more than just that. In fact, it is considered to be the basis for all psychic powers. Like many other psychic powers, clairvoyance comes in many forms. Think of clairvoyance as an umbrella term for the various forms of it ranging from the knowledge-based claircognizance to clairalience, which has to do with smells. All of the forms can be improved with the same exercises of your mind power.
Finding your mind’s eye is the first step in opening up your mind power and improving your clairvoyance. To locate your mind’s eye, or sometimes called your third eye, sit down in a quiet place, as though meditating. Close your eyes and think of a moment from earlier in the day, or even the day before. Picture the moment, whether it is a moving scene or a stationary tableau. Once you can actually visualize the image, you have found your mind’s eye. This is key to many clairvoyance exercises.
After locating your mind’s eye, you can practice your clairvoyance by focusing your energy in it. Imagine this eye expanding and see if you notice any colors or shapes, no matter how vague. Even if you see nothing, there is no reason to feel discouraged, as this can require a great deal of practice. Be sure not to push yourself too hard or feel as though you are overwhelmed.
You can have a friend assist you in this task. Place your friend in another room and tell them to sit or stand in a certain position. You can then use your mind’s eye to picture the room, which should be familiar to you. You can perform this type of exercise in a variety of ways. The friend can rearrange a certain aspect of the room, or hold a certain object. Be sure to consult an honest friend in this task, and not someone who will encourage you by saying you are right even if you were wrong. With simple exercises like this one, you can improve both your clairvoyance and your mind power.
